About the Artist:
John Parnell was born in1958 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. John studied art at Emily Carr College of Art and Design in Vancouver, graduating in 1984. While continuing his studio work he attended the University of Calgary, graduating in 1988 with a Bachelor of Education. After graduating John took a full time position with West Island College in Calgary. He taught fine art till 2003, when John withdrew from teaching to pursue a studio career. Past Work |
